After several tries of eating so-called "Ampang Yong Tau Fu" in Klang, I was actually given up on it already. None of those that I tried could be considered acceptable. But somehow, after a trip to a waterfall in Gombak, I was being taken to one of the restaurant in Ampang for their famous Ampang Yong Tau Fu.
Maybe I didnt put much hope on it and I was wondering why so many people actually frequented these few shops, I was surprised at how good the foods is.

The place was full when we reached there and it is still full when we leave… When a group of people on a table stand to leave, another group would fill in the space…

Ordering is very easy. Each table is numbered. Just go to the counter and tell the boss what you want and go back to sit. Minutes later, the yong tau fu would be served. You would be amazed how they could be so efficient.
And if you are asking, each piece of yong tau fu would cost you RM0.80. It used to be RM0.70 but due to inflation (my guess), the price has gone up abit.
All in all, we ordered 50 pieces. There are 5 of us, thus, average, each person ate 10 pieces…
